I played D'n'D today at my friends birthday ' party '. It was his wish to have one of our friends as a DM, he always has very cool campaigns. Well, anyway, the 7 of us plus the DM played, we were all level 9, some of us had those cool prestige classes. There were two assassins (*rolls eyes*), two wizard/figters (don't ask), one pure wizard, one thiefling rouge, and one bard - me.
Now, with three wizards you would expect at least one of them to know about arcane spells, right? They rolled a really bad d20, and failed knowledge check - I used bardic knowledge and rolled 17
Gee, what a laugh I (me AND my character) had when I told them what the spell was!! Funny.
It was, fun, I love D'n'D, especially with a good DM - that means also a very imaginative one
I may reflect about my school as well, then - we have very interesting things to learn - we already started Einstein's special theory of relativity. In philosophy, we're currently studying about Voltaire, Rousseau, etc. In maths.... I don't know how you say it on English *think*. Nvm math
In biology - the uses of genetics: biotechnology, genetic manipulation, gmo, cloning, etc. Chemistry - alcohols (before them we learned about benzenes - trinitrotoluene as well ). In History - WWII....... and 9 other subjects of which PE is the most interesting because we're sortof learning how to be jesters
....all fairly interesting stuff.... who would have said that the 4th grade of high school be so interesting!
